Hello Friend,
Say goodbye to your boring conference room meetings or meetings where it's hard to hear and see everyone whether you’re in person or remote. A Microsoft Teams Room creates an interactive and collaborative meeting space with microphones, speakers and multiple cameras.
By the way, there is a lot you can do with a fancy new conference room: One of them is to have OrlanTech’s president, Keith Coker, give a presentation or train your team to better leverage the technology they use daily or follow best practices in cybersecurity.
Keith’s vast experience in both building an IT company and working in IT makes him an expert in all things IT and cybersecurity. You can tap into his expertise by having him speak at your event or training.
Ditch Your Boring Conference Room Meetings
There’s a way to take your conference room to the next level: Transform it into a Microsoft Teams room.
Teams’ conference room solutions optimize the way you interact with your team and clients. With high-tech microphones, multi-view cameras, speakers, whiteboards and more, you can boost collaboration in your meetings while using an interface you already know.
Our team can install these inclusive and collaborative solutions to change the way your team uses Teams in meetings.
Our president and co-founder, Keith Coker, has vast knowledge of all things IT and cybersecurity. Plus, he’s got a passion for sharing that knowledge with others, whether at a conference or an interactive training session with your team. Keith can speak on any number of topics, such as best practices for cybersecurity or leveraging technology for a competitive advantage and so much more.
Keith is available for speaking engagements in Orlando, Florida, and beyond.
Did you recently get a free USB charging cable—maybe as a gift or giveaway—and plug it into your phone without a second thought? It’s just a cable, right? But, the OMG cable – which is short for “Offensive Malware Gear” – isn’t your normal charging cable, it contains a tiny chip that allows hackers to remotely access your device.
This innocent-looking charging cable logs your keystrokes, delivers malicious payloads and gives an attacker remote control of your device. You would be none the wiser, especially since these cords are given out as free “gifts” or promotional items, which makes it easy to assume it's harmless.
Here’s how to protect yourself:
Never plug in a cable or device you weren’t expecting. If you didn’t buy it or request it, don’t trust it.
Buy cables only from reputable sources. Avoid second-hand cables or those from unknown vendors.
Educate your team. Awareness is one of the strongest defenses against these kinds of social engineering attacks.
Secure your USB ports. Consider endpoint protection tools that can block unauthorized USB connections.
